HOW WE WORK


  • INITIATE CONTACT & MEET IN PERSON: After receiving your call, we will set up a meeting to discuss your wants and desires—your “need to haves” and “nice to haves.” We will also discuss your price point and go over your understanding of the home-buying process. It is also important for us to get a feeling for what you expect from your agent and their services.
  • PRE-APPROVAL: Ideally, you will be pre-approved before we meet.  However if you aren’t yet, we will work with you to complete the process.  If you so choose, we will set you up with our email system which automatically notifies you of homes that fit your criteria; new listings and price reductions.
  • FINDING THE RIGHT HOME: Once we have a handful of properties, we will go out on our first day of showings. We like to compile various types of properties for the first day, so that we can get a sense of what really moves you. After the first day, we’ll do a wrap up discussion about what we saw and how to best move forward. Sometimes client desires change and sometimes they stay the same—either is fine!  And in any case, we continue to keep in contact until we find the right place.
  • PREPARING THE OFFER: Once the property is chosen, we will review the comparables and determine a strategy for your offer, making sure it is the strongest offer possible.  We then present it to the listing agent and follow up with them regarding their final decision.
  • REACHING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE SELLER: Once your offer is presented, we will help you negotiate possible counter offers in order to get your offer accepted.
  • ESCROW/ CLOSING: When your offer gets accepted, escrow will open and we will stay in communication with you to make this process as worry-free as possible.
